She is a beauty, one that stole the hearts of many while "California Dreamin" in the 1960's. Her style was a true bohemian and utterly entrancing.
Though her look has natural ease, she played it up with unique accessories - pins, hats, brooches, braids. Always something that stands out. She is someone new to think about, to be inspired by... she is our Society Girl of the Week..

I'm inspired! I love her style...
i'm so glad that you showcased her style! When I was in highschool (and facinated with the hippie generation...still am) I loved to look at pictures of michelle, mama cass, janis joplin, joni michell (you know, all of the greats) for sewing inspiration. at that time, it was hard to find intricate, flower child inspired pieces. carly simon is another great. while flipping through an old stack of vogues, i stumbled upon a retrospect written by her, remembering her fist vogue shoot. it was fantastic. (sorry about the novel that i just wrote)
Nonshannontly,
It is great to hear your experience with inspirations. I love to know who are style icons of all Society Girls!
