Something Wonderful

Something wonderful has happened!

Something unexpected. It happened as I painted my nails with their signature color. I was in front of the tube. I looked up, heard this great song, saw this great girl as she pranced through life taking photos looking fabulous. I couldn't peel my eyes away. I wanted to jump into the screen put on the clothes, have the same haircut, giggle and run through the city with my girlfriends.

Then the unexpected came.. the words "OLD NAVY" popped up on the screen.

It was wonderful.. now I just need to stop by a shop and see if for myself.

Check out what is so wonderful!

I would never have seen this ad if you didn't point it out...nor would I have hit up Old Navy. Thanks for the inspiration... I might have to trek to the suburbs this weekend- or just dance around my living room with an empty polaroid- since they discontinued the film this week.

I first noticed that model a few years ago, she did the photos for Delia's for ages. She is amazingly cute. :) I *LOVE* the direction Old Navy is taking.

I went in to Old Navy today, and tried on their new "Safari" strappy heels and regretfully did not get them.
But after seeing that fantastic video, I thought, "Okay, now I REALLY DO have to get them."

I recently did a post about this also. Old Navy's new collection as well as their ad is very inspiring. And for once the things look just as great when you get to the store also.

I am definitely looking forward to see where Old Navy goes with this new philosophy and marketing plan, but their clothes tend to fit me strangely - especially the bottoms.

Each spring they reinvent themselves and i love them more and more.
But the clothes still don't last very long.

I saw the ad! I just love what Old Navy is doing. I can't wait to see the jumper in person and hopefully buy it! Old Navy clothing always fits me akwardly. I always feel like a kid trying on big clothes.

its crazy i know...i actaully work at old navy doing logistics, so i know about & see the clothes before anyone else, i've never been forced to wear the clothes, its just "old navy"-like dress code, however lately i've been happily surprised, & with my discount its wonderful...in other things, yes old navy is taking a new direction, todd oldham will be designing, more housewares, more lingerie, & also more modern, & more trends, the outfits will get to store from design table a million times quicker than before too! i just nabbed the greatest orange vintage-look strapless sundress, also in white, lots of whites around...
