the photos are great! that dress is amazing. i'm also kind of in awe of your model's ability to scale fences in those heels. now *that's* talent.

(you're all linked up, btw!)

the dress and hat are perfection. i'd have done something different for shoes, but my god i didn't even notice them until my 2nd or 3rd time looking at the photos. Definitely saving some of these in my "inspiration" folder.

Emily, I am interested to know what type of shoes you would have used.

I am always looking for new ideas.

Thanks for posting everyone!

Something along the lines of this shape: http://www.zappos.com/images/732/7324858/6218-432530-d.jpg but in a red or white? I guess the shape you chose was similar, I think it's the color that I would have done differently... I think the shoes you used are black, right? Anyway, everything is beautiful and I love reading your blog!

Okay, oops, I looked again, and I guess the shoes you used AREN'T that similar to the shape I posted (my memory fails me sometimes!). Anyway, yeah, I think it's cause to me the outfit had a certain mod appeal and I think going with that kind of mod-look in the shoes would have been more cohesive without being costumey. I think the shoes you used are great, but would look sexier with a slinky black dress....
